Strategically located between the regional centres of Bendigo and Ballarat, Centre State Asphalt’s production facility services central Victoria as well as the broader Northern and Western districts.
Commissioned in 2011, the company-owned 120 tonne per hour production facility meets stringent EPA emission standards with a newly installed baghouse dust and fume extraction system.
Our laboratory is one of the most advanced NATA approved laboratories in country Victoria that supports not only asphalt testing but also a range of soils tests to support our quarry operations. We achieve our focus on quality by using a computer-controlled production facility that manufactures a range of consistent asphalt mixes in accordance with VicRoads registered mix designs.

Process improvement initiatives slated for 2014 are focused on expanding the range of products, reducing energy consumption and increasing production flexibility.
The Centre State Asphalting production plant is one of regional Victoria’s leading environmentally-focused facilities with the introduction of recycled materials and the use of natural gas as the primary energy source.

From driveways to major freeway upgrades, distances as far as the New South Wales and South Australian borders, and under all temperature ranges, the system of delivery from the production facility to the site ensures high-quality product and service
